FAIRBANKS, ALASKA—at the fairbanks international airport, waiting for the flight to anchorage, then its home to kotzebue.
the week went by great. make some good connections and talked with a gentleman about a possible job. so, i may be switching jobs soon! we shall see….
yesterday i received a text from my buddy nate, from nome. he said we’d be receiving a shipment of 8 norton sound king crab on today’s flight. so, i’m happy to report that i’ll be having fresh king crab when i get home to kotzebue tonight. yes, it is good. thanks for the crab, nate!
fairbanks weather is beautiful. sunny, spring has definitely sprung in fairbanks. i’m looking forward to a fixed snowmachine back in kotzebue—fixed sno go means fresh ptarmigan and/or fresh caribou.
i’m also looking forward to a fixed macbook next week. my poor macbook has been out of commission for a few weeks now—that’s why there’s not very many new posts to eskimo power. the mac store in anchorage will be replacing the logic board on my mac. that was one expensive sneeze—an $824 sneeze, to be exact.
until next time. have a great weekend.
